Murray Browne is a former Australian Rules Football player for and in the Australian Football League (AFL). His son Alex plays for in the AFL. He played his junior football at Watsonia Football Club in the Diamond Valley League and joined the Magpies in 1981 at 18 years of age. Browne played 53 AFL matches for Collingwood between 1981 and 1985; and Fitzroy in 1986.
